The ownership inversion
A health-conscious person generates data across lab portals, wearable apps, CGM apps, DNA platforms and spreadsheets. Each platform holds a slice of the picture and sells its own interpretation back. Health Vault takes the opposite position: the member owns the data, the filters and the surface, and every platform becomes a data source instead of a landlord.
Built in-house, run daily
Health Vault is a live private build, in daily use since spring 2026. It has been cloned end to end for one external member, on their own deployment with their own data, fully separate from any other vault. One reason it was built was so that some clients of Dr. Matt Zanis, PT, DPT could use it too.
Genome comparisons
The vault has run five kinds of genome comparison, each described here as a method only:
- Two genomes compared against each other. Two people's genomes are compared side by side to see where they match and where they differ.
- A genome compared against a blood relative's. The same kind of comparison, run between two people who are related, to look at what they share by descent.
- Genetics and temperament. A genome is read against traits related to how a person relates to others.
- Genetics against supplements. A genome is read against a supplement protocol, so a choice can be checked against a genetic predisposition instead of guessed at.
- Genetics against sleep. A genome is read against sleep data, to see whether a genetic marker lines up with a sleep pattern.
Private by default
Nothing in a member's vault is publicly addressable, and no live vault is linked from any public surface. Every record carries its own privacy tier, from the most locked, raw medical records and genome, down to what a member might choose to share with a clinician or a coach. The most sensitive tier never leaves the vault. A public demo runs the full product on entirely fictional sample data, which is the only sanctioned way to see it without seeing anyone's records.
